Summary: "Best investment"
I highly recommend Orthaheel to everyone! My arches collapsed a few months ago and found it difficult to wear flip-flops for the entire day without my feet hurting. This is the perfect solution. I can wear my Orthaheels ALL day without any discomfort.

Summary: "Very Comfortable!"
I bought these sandals after the reading the reviews and was a little skeptical that they would be as comfortable and provide the support the other reviewers had claimed. I have to say I am very happy with these and have recommended them to others with foot pain.
I would buy these again or I might try another Orthaheel model.

Summary: "Consider other sellers as well"
Ordered black, size 9 from Amazon and because at that time no other color was available from here, I ordered the Teal in size 9 from [...] Both same price. The black ones from Amazon are clearly marked size 9, but I can't keep them on; in addition, one sandal seems even bigger than the other - or they feel worn out and loose. Can't seem to pin the problem down. They seem much too wide and I have difficulty walking and keeping them on my feet, especially when not on an even surface. Walking in the back yard on the grass is a workout in itself just trying to keep these on my feet and as for coming up a flight of stairs, well I can just forget that the way I 'forget' the sandal on the previous step if it hasn't already traveled down the flight of stairs backwards on its own.
On the other hand, the pair I got directly from [...] is perfect. The plantar fac. pain is much reduced when wearing these: I can keep them on from rising in the morning until bedtime and even use them during the night as slippers. As someone else said, don't know what I'm going to do once the snow starts but you can bet I'll be wearing these indoors anyway.
Now, I'm not saying the Amazon ones aren't good: they just didn't fit as well as the same product/size I got elsewhere and I'm glad I tried both places. Rather than return the black ones, I had my friend try them out: she wears orthotics in her sneakers and she takes 1/2 size larger than I. They not only fit her perfectly, she has never worn thong sandals before and just loves those, so we both are happy (as are our feet). Perhaps they were mismarked.
I'll purchase another pair, but not sure if I'll take a chance on Amazon again and maybe have to return them or go for the sure thing from Footsmart.
As for the sandals themselves, they're cute and they sure do help with my foot pain which can, as plan fac. sufferers now, be even more excruciating in the early morning, but I do think they are extremely overpriced for a thong sandal made of feather-light plastic. If I didn't need such a good arch support and pain reliever, I'd never even consider spending this on any sandal.

Summary: "Comfy BUT......"
The shoe itself was very comfortable. My heels had no more pain, under my feet was no more pain and it threw me to the outside which is what I wanted. What I didn't want is for the straps to be so tight. My left foot is a medium width, but because I have a bunion on my right foot and have had ankle surgery I need a wide. I've read many reviews with the same problem that the straps are too tight. I'm very surprised that since a Podiatrist designed these sandals, one would think he would make them in wides and read some reviews of customers and make the straps a little wider.

Summary: "These run large"
I wear a size 8 in Clarks, another comfort brand, but these sandals in an 8 were too large both in width and length. They seem quite nice and would be comfortable in the correct size. They will be returned, and I'm not ordering a 7 because it might be too small.
